THE BINDMAN & BRUZAS STORY
The year 1989 introduced two real estate brokers who shared the same desire - to effectively and professionally deal with every real estate wish of the general public. To adequately do this, Jan Bruzas and Michael Bindman combined their knowledge and techniques and formed a real estate partnership. A partnership to perform twice the service with twice the experience. Within a short period, sales soared and both agents realized that the majority of their interests were concentrated on waterfront properties and high end properties.
Michael and Jan's partnership grew and a small business flourished with 6 agents and support staff. Over the course of the years, the "Team" thrived at some of the major brokerages in our local Association. In 2006 Michael and Jan took their experience and knowledge and opened their own office at 5156 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, Florida; Bindman Bruzas Realty was born!
Michael Bindman was the 2002 Chairman for the Pinellas Realtor Association and 2004 Florida Association of Realtors District 6 Vice President. In 2005 Michael was Chairman of the Realtors Political Action Committee and Chairman of PRO Biz. One of the most prestigious awards in 2005 was his award as the Realtor of The Year. He serves as a Board member for the state and national Realtor Associations as well as numerous local committees such as Professional Standards. Michael's many real estate affiliations allow him to network with hundreds of Realtors nationwide and, therefore, brings added exposure for your real estate needs and wants.
Jan specializes in real estate technology and has been published several times in the Florida Realtor magazine, Association newsletters, and other real estate publications. She teaches technology classes to new associates and has organized one of the largest Technology and Business Fairs in all of Florida (www.D6Expo.com)for the last 3 years. She has served as the 2003, 2004, & 2005 & 2007 FAR Director and attends all the annual FAR and NAR Conventions for technology education. She has been awarded the distinction of CRS, Certified Real Estate Specialist, an award that is given to only 14% of Realtors nationwide. In 2007 her local Association, Pinellas Realtor Association, appointed her position on the Boad of Directors. She also serves as RPAC Chairman and Vice Chair for the Grievance Committee. Jan's involvement with technology and her enthusiasm for the business guarantees the consumer will receive cutting edge service and attention to every detail.
In November of 2004, Jan and Michael took their partnership to a higher level; they got married! Now as husband and wife, they work tirelessly side by side guaranteeing that the consumers and the Associates who have joined Bindman and Bruzas Realty receive the attention and loyalty they deserve.
